Nicolas Tourney - Alphaville

 

Alphaville has been since its release a film that has sparked many musical creations, inspired by the deeply innovative world that Jean-Luc Godard has created.

The music of Paul Misraki originally comes to punctuate actions and dialogues, in the midst of an unusual engineering (desynchronized sound, figures of speech linked to the editing, sound effects out of frame, etc.).

In this second part of a work initiated by "The Naked Island", the French composer / performer Nicolas Tourney weaves a sound universe in dialogue with this dystopia which has become cult.

Alphaville a été depuis sa sortie un film qui a suscité de nombreuses créations musicales, inspirées par l'univers profondément novateur que Jean-Luc Godard a crée.

La musique de Paul Misraki y vient originellement ponctuer actions et dialogues, au milieu d'une ingénieurie inhabituelle (son désynchronisé, figures de style liées au montage, effets sonores hors cadre et hors champ, etc).

Dans ce second volet d'un travail initié par "The Naked Island", le compositeur/performeur français Nicolas Tourney tisse un univers sonore en dialogue avec cette dystopie devenue culte.
